Hawaii, post two

We started the second day with surfing at White Plains Beach.  Mitch did great.  I was not as successful this time as I was the last time we came here, but I got a good workout and still felt the need to pose with the board.

This is a Hawaiian Monk seal.  There are only about 1000 left in the world.  This girl was all roped off and protected. 

From White Plains we headed up to the North Shore.  We ate some amazing shrimp from a shrimp truck.  Saw another beautiful sunrise.  Then met up with Scott and Steph for the best Thai food I have ever had in my life!

I apparently turned into a fairy in Hawaii!

 Opal Thai!  There really aren't words to explain how awesome this place was.  It's also the type of place that we never would have found if it weren't for Scott and Steph.  It is hidden behind other restaurants and shops.  You don't really order off a menu.  The chef comes out and talks to you, asks you what you like then goes back and starts cooking and the food just keeps coming.  EVERYTHING was incredible.
