It's Christmas!

On Christmas morning we do mostly video, and since my video editing software is currently not working (check out Jackson Kung Fu version of Jingle bell rock below.) I just don't have any video to post. If anyone can suggest really good software I would love to hear it.
Jackson was up at 6:30 am. We told him he had to wait until the clock said 7:00 or until Asher woke up. After about two minutes he told Mitch he needed to get a new clock, because this one wasn't working! We gave in and went to wake up Asher. They were pretty excited! They ran in saw their toys and the first thing Jackson said was. "Wow! Asher do you want to share this with me?" I am so glad we have video of that. Jackson got matchbox Shuttle mission, and Asher got, yes I know it's crazy, another train. But this one is remote control and he hasn't left the train since, only for nap time and food.

I got a new lens for our camera and spent some time experimenting with it.

For breakfast we had our traditional crepes.

For Christmas dinner we had our friends the Smiths over for fondue. (sorry no pictures.) The food and company were fantastic. We missed our families. It is always hard when you know they are all together having a good time, but it helps when you have good friends and your own little family around you.

We feel very blessed this time of year. Christmas eve we watched our family home movies, and were reminded of just how blessed we are to be a family. We are so grateful for the Christmas season and the spirit of giving and happiness. We are especially grateful for the birth of Jesus Christ, and what that means for you and me. Merry Christmas!

What a great Christmas! Loved Jackson's letter. Your food looks way too good to eat.

I'm not an expert, but we use Ulead to edit our video. Not that we have done a lot it. Justin is better than me, but it's pretty user friendly.
