We took the boys out for a bike ride on Friday night. The plan was we would pull to boys in the bike trailer while we got a little exercise. As we were loading the bikes Jackson insisted we bring his, so of course Asher insisted on bringing his big wheel. We figured when we got there and pulled out the trailer, which they love, they would want to ride in that. That was not the case, they both insisted on riding their own bikes. Jackson has only been riding a two wheeler for a week now and he was amazing. He did hills, started and stopped on hills, and went super fast and would have gone on forever if we didn't insist that it was getting dark and we needed to turn back. And Asher, he was killer. He was going so fast down some of the hills on that little big wheel, that he flipped his bike a few times. He was determined to keep up, and wouldn't stop for anything. Mitch had the trailer attached to his bike and we didn't talk it off because we figured that Asher would want in within five minutes. It never happened. They are such cute, active, adventurous, determined little boys. I was so proud of them, I could have cried. They never cease to amaze me.
