These two pictures pretty much sum up Lily at three. Mitch was trying to get a picture of her by her birthday sign, and she just wouldn't hold still. She is a tornado in a tutu these days and we wouldn't have it any other way.

She also chose to be "Captain America Princess" on her birthday, thus the tutu and Captain America shirt.
She also requested princess birthday cake, and I was happy to oblige for my girl.
It was hard to keep her away from the cakes as we waited for the "party" to start. It wasn't really a party, we just had the neighbor kids, Hattie, Hans and Holter, over for cake and ice cream.
She loved her cakes and kept saying over and over, "thank you mommy, for making my pwincess birthday cake!" Totally worth it!
She had to have a piece of all three cakes and she dove in, face first.
She had a happy birthday, and we were so happy to get to celebrate three years with this amazing little princess.
