The PA farm show is a REALLY BIG DEAL around here. Sadly we have lived in PA a total of 7 years and always somehow missed it, but this year we made sure that we got there. It was really fun. My favorite part was the food. I have been craving the fried vegetable sampler since we went.
Here is Mitch and the boys with the, still warm potato doughnuts and milk shakes, seriously, so good!
milking a fake cow.
petting a horse.
We spent some time watching a horse pulling competition. Two horses were connected to a cart loaded with cinder blocks. They then pulled the cart as far as they could before stopping. The kids loved it, but Lily was a little, shall we say, possessive of the horses. Every time a new set of horses would come out, she would say "Hey! that's my horsey!" we thought it was really funny, but this was no joke to her. Those people had her horse!
