Our Easter

We started the day with our favorite fantastic waffles. Our waffle iron stopped working this very morning and so we borrowed one from friends, (thanks Weavers, sorry for waking you up.)

RIP Cuisinart 4 square belgian waffle maker. This was one of our favorite wedding gifts, it worked wonderfully for nearly 11 years. Many a good breakfast was made thanks to this little appliance.

I think even Lily thought the waffles looked good.

We colored eggs.

The irony that this picture is not in color is not lost on me.
We had our jelly bean grab, where we dump jelly beans all over our front room and then let the boys grab all that they can. It is a tradition that we took from Mitch's family. It is a favorite around here.

We finally had someone in our house who could wear an Easter bonnet

It was a beautiful easter Sunday. We listened to Conference and talked about the Easter story with our kids. I loved hearing Asher tell the story of the ressurection in surprising detail with such faith. I love the pure faith and sweet hearts of children.
